These are not quite stressed members including the triangle plate, but they do help in distributing chassis load from one side to the other.
I understand that if you undo these a geo is then required to check that everything is back in alignment.
Certainly was the case in the GT4 gearbox recall which required that these parts are removed to replace the gearbox unit. Standard Geo was also supposed to be done to within factory parameters.
