987 Suspension Clonk?
Discussion
They're supposedly quite prone to this, although I've been lucky enough not have suffered it on any of mine. There are parts of the suspension called coffin arms and other parts called tuning forks ( it's a shape thing! ), both seem to be the first port of call for your type of problem. Boxanet's your friend with these things.
After a full overhaul including being put on shaker plates, nothing found. Even after 75k miles all bushes in good condition.
The trouble with intermittent faults there so hard to find. Best of it on the ride home my wife heard it while pulling our driveway, test drove with her and nothing??
I hate unsolved problems.
