So, a quick look on PH sales left me a little surprised that there are 18 x 718 GT4s for sale ranging from £110K down to £85K.

Left me thinking there’s a sizeable percentage of cars that have been registered so far already in the market and what that says....... are they, Flippers, people who don’t like them, or people who wish they hadn’t bought and want the cash back given what’s happened?

Re pricing, With all these cars for sale do people think the “overs” thing is well and truly dead and as such many cars are going to have to be price dropped to actually sell?

But only a couple of 718 Spyders!
More GT4 deliveries maybe? My OPC has delivered the same number of both but not sure this is representative.
Interesting

There are 9 718 Spyders on Autotrader and at least 1 that is being touted to the trade who won't even underwrite it at 80k.

I don't think the Spyders are immune to the flippers.

And 23 718 GT4. Point still stands many more GT4 than Spyders

When you can pick up a very low mileage 4.0 GT3 for £125k without negotiation, would you pay £110k for a GT4? Maybe some would but doesn’t seem any sense to me.

According to howmanyleft there were 100 GT4’s and 77 Spyder’s registered in Q4 2019....so a much more even split than for 981 where I think there were 3X as many GT4’s registered approximately.

Interesting, so around 25% of GT4s on the market already.

Quite where all the buyers for GT4s at over £100K are going to come from puzzles me....

The GTS will also eat into things.

The high retail price is the reason Porsche didn’t want to do the GT4 in the first place... they didn’t think there would be demand.

Overs are over although sure there are some people with more money.

Incorrect, the second batch arrived in Q1 2020 so there are approximate 200 in the UK at the moment. So that's ~12% for sale.
