Anyone share the car with the wife and have two way seats?
Discussion
So currently on the lookout for a 718 boxster for the wife, I will drive it aswell.
It needs to be a 2.5 , been looking at the sport along with the GTS . Most appear to be the manual 2 way adjustable seats.
Will I instantly regret not having the 14 way?
These appear to be like rocking horse s**t in the GTS .

My wife’s Boxster has the 2 way seats.....I don;t drive it that often but when I do it takes about 5 seconds to adjust it. In my case as far back and as low as possible. We’re still talking to each other!
I'd agree, it will be the same for me. to the bottom and back..... If I want to say in the good books I could put it back to a closer position...

We had a boxster for years with manual adjustment, and it was annoying because its not just the seats, also the mirrors & the steering wheel - and radio stations, aircon settings etc. Rectified that when we bought a 2.5gts - got 18 ways. Also, because you can tilt the base in the 18 ways, its much better for tall people, as effectively it gives you more legroom. Also MUCH more comfortable seat IMHO. Sorry, it will add to the expense, but I would choose it over almost any other option, as you use it every single time you drive.
Had to live with the social deprivation of 2 way seats in a 981 Boxster for 4 years. It never crossed my mind until now how tough times were. Surprised Corbyn never started a protest march in my honour.
Seriously they are great seats and not a problem if you can contend with 10 seconds of adjustment before driving.

The 18 ways are based on the sports plus 2 ways (so same basic seat shape/support), but with full electric adjustment and as well as tilt, have lumber adjustment which 2 ways don't.Gassing Station | Boxster/Cayman | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
