Hi
Resigning myself to never getting a 781 GT4 new build slot so looking at a used 981 GT4.
Does anyone know if you can get the Rev matching coded off?
Thanks

Just turn off “sport” mode. Or does that cause something you don’t want?

Just don't press the "Sport" button - that's all it does. It's badly labelled as they re-used an existing part due to time constraints.

The sport button only activates rev matching ?
Nothing else?
Doesn’t change the suspension or exhaust ?
Thanks

Yes it does also switch on the third, central radiator however the stat turns on this radiator automatically when temperatures rise.

Thats it, no mapping no suspension no change in throttle response.

Not sure it does the third rad, GT cars are very specific about one button does one function.

I think the third rad is independent and just stat controlled?

Seem to remember it does activate the 3rd rad on the 981 as the temp drops as does economy.

It definitely does turn on the extra cooling. oil temps run about 10 ish degrees cooler with it on than off.

Correct. Manually switches the thermostat.
The car would also do it automatically after a duration at high temp.

Cool - cheers! I wonder if Auto Blip on the 718 GT4 does the same thing?

I'll have to try it out...

On my 718 Spyder the autoblip is defaulted to off. The button just switches it on. Must be the same in a 718 GT4. I like it that way, off all the time for me except on track when it works great.
