PS4S not approved for 981 only 982?
Discussion
Yes, I do. Had them fitted just after my warranty expired Mar '18, and had warranty renewed in this Mar with them still fitted. No queries about them. When consdiering them I asked the service guy if there would be a probelm, and reply was along as they're N rated, no.
Much better than P zero's.

OPC are so clueless about tyres you can fit CGT fronts a tyre design just for that car to a rear of a Cayman as long as it’s got a N they don’t care.
So yes it never been tested on the 981 and thus not approved but it's an N tyre so the service dept have zero clue they just tick a box on a sheet of paper.

Has anyone actually had a warranty voided for using non N rated tyres ?
I really dont see how N rating can actually affect the efficacy of a Porsche.....
They won't void your warranty for having a modification, but if the issue can be linked to the modification you have made then they may refuse to pay out.I really dont see how N rating can actually affect the efficacy of a Porsche.....
To renew warranty the car will need to be stock.
I.E. If you have non N-rated tyres and your rear diff goes, they might blame that on non spec tyres.
I had PS4S fitted by OPC on a car with a warranty, and later purchased an extended warranty and there was no issue at all.
Like others said, as long as they're 'N' rated they don't care about any specifics.
And if you're considering a purchase, do it. They're much better than the Pirelli's or the Goodyears.
