GT4 Front UK Number Plates?
Discussion
I have been asked if I want the front bumper drilling for the number plate but don't know what it looks like with the different options...
Has anyone got some pics of their front number plate please? (Please blur out the reg)
What have people gone for? Vinyl Stick on or with a plinth?
I don't have the option of running without a plate as my car will be checked everyday.
Thanks
Simon

Well for goodness sake don’t let them drill it! Those plinths fit so poorly it rather spoils a nice front design.
I can’t do a photo now but I have a legal-sized stick-on one. But a regular plate can be stuck on with double sided tape too along the top edge. I’ve done that too in the past and it works pretty well.

Just spotted this on the Cayman R forum, absolutely brilliant idea, should be a similar radius on a GT4
I’ve got stick on front plates on all my Porsche’s and they are look fine but they do curve a bit with the shape of the bumper, this is the solution.
Look back a page on that thread for more info / supplier details.

My front bumper after 10 years of careless muppets attaching number plates - avoid screws if you can.

Doubt the main dealer will send you out without a number plate ,always thought the plate had to have the p code on it .defo dont drill it Thank you for sharing... I have asked the dealer to put the plinth in the boot and put a stick on on the car or leave it off and I'll do it myself.

I didn't think they would either which is why I gave them the option of putting a stick on one. They are the ones who gave me the choice to not drill it though so I expect they must have a solution...You can buy stick on ones which are fully compliant to the plate laws with makers name and BS number etc on the plate...
