MY 987 Spyder has been laid up for a long time and has been on a trickle charge 12.4 reading and I have opened up the car on a few occasions all fine with the key and relocks ok ..today it will not open with the remote but managed to open the door with the key ,the bonnet and boot releases wont work with the key or the buttons on the sill ,i tried the key in the ignition now it wont come out and the window has raised so cannot shut the door . I know there is an ememgency release cable but cannot remember which side it is on behind the front wheel also the locking wheel key is in the front so no way of taking off the front wheel ...any help urgently suggestions rrequired .

12v power to the red tab in the fuse box to pop the bonnet then charge or change the battery.

ALL Thanks after seeing instructions in manual page 190 i eventually got boot open ,should read instruction full was pulling up on the bonnet release on the sill ,its the key fob button you hold down for 2 sec pop bonnet open .Started it with donor battery and jump leads ,stated first go ,but now PSM yellow sign is showing up on dash .have car on trickle charge to se if i can bet battery up to full power and then take out for a drive may clear the fault if not further investigation is required ...any thoughts ?

If you jump started it then take if for a drive as that will charge the battery quicker than a trickle charger. If the battery died on the trickle charger though then it sounds like you have a duff battery. PSM light should go off after you drive for a bit. You can get a cig lighter voltage meter to see how it's charging as you drive to monitor the alternator.
