I want to clean out my washer bottle as it seems there's a likelihood of some sludge in it. Porsche fluid ALWAYS used since birth.

Is it easy to remove, if so please advise the process.

It's booked in for MOT later this month so I could leave it to them to clean it out but if it's easy I'll give it a go.

Many thanks for any info.

I can't answer your specific question but my answer to the problem is to fill the reservoir with hot (not boiling!) water and just keep pumping it though, then refill with fresh washer mix afterwards. My 981 has definitely needed this treatment, the washer fluid becoming quite gel-like and sticky. I've only had to do it once in 8 years, probably about a year ago.

Was told by OPC that mine was the same (987) so took it all apart and got the bottle out only to find it was clean. I had run 2 fills of plain water through it prior but they had said it needed removing and washing out properly. Takes about 45 mins to do it on a 987 from start to finish.
