LED Matrix lights & windscreen band on 718

Has anyone ordered the LED Matrix lights on either a GT4 or Spyder?

I'm just playing with the configurator and when spec'd they seem to put a solid band across the top of the windscreen. Wondering how dark this is as I'm pretty tall at over 6'4"....... thinking it could annoy if it sits in the eyeline etc

I'll be trying a friend's cayman out for size after lockdown to gauge if it would, but just wondered if anyone's specified these lights already and what your thoughts were.

We've got the LED PDLS+ on our Spyder with the band and think it's quite subtle, can barely notice it even when looking for it. I think it's just a quirk of the configurator.

I have a base 718, but with the the LED headlights - I'm 6'6" and can see just fine.

I just checked the configurator and it does it for all models - maybe because more space is required at the top of the screen for the camera.
