It's really not a difficult job to do yourself (you don't even have to jack it up) so if you are feeling inclined you could give it a go and use the money saved on a few decent bottles of whisky/wine to celebrate.

There are loads of guides online and you can do it with just a cheap set of torx drivers (ebay/amazon).

Autofarm are excellent but you'll pay a lot of money for a very simple job

It's basically the same process as this but due to the arch liner design on the 987 it's actually a bit easier.

The only thing I would advise is to make a note of where each screw came from. They all look identical but some are slightly longer. I don't think it matters hugely (I'm sure mine are in the wrong order) but probably worth getting it right if you can

I used to vacuum the debris out ... the GT4 grills make it much harder but in theory there should be nothing to find because of the grills ?
