Yes they would. Sport Classic 1s are even nicer, but just as difficult to keep clean 
ETA cannot find the photo I was looking for, but here's a poor one - a friend of mine had them on his 996.2

Not the 18 panamera wheels. Look at the ‘ridge’ around the outer side of the wheel nut hole on the originals and then see that this ‘ridge’ is not there on the panamera wheels.

Because they are. If you enjoy driving on real roads, these 17s will be much 'better' than whatever you have at the moment, as they are the lightest OE set available (if you don't want to go down to 16s)Regarding 'looks' - Multispokes seem to look bigger on the p-cars than they actually are. You would not be disappointed by how they 'look' side-on (as per the OP photo), but 7J fronts always look too inset on 9x6 or even 993. You can put spacers in if that bothers you.
