There are a few pictures online, some on this forum, of a road bike fitting in the rear of a 987 Cayman with the wheels off.

Does anyone know if this is still possible in the 981 Cayman?

How does rear hatch space compare? Particularly clearance between the silver bar and the window.

Thanks!

I'd be interested to see this, too - including knowing what the frame size is for reference.

7.1/2 years/103 months is good stealthy stalking. Well done.

If it were possible I suspect that you'd have to strip down the pedals, seat post, wheels, flatten the bars etc. So a lot of grief, even if it were possible.

Easier to get a sea-sucker and stick it on the roof.

That's a 987 though, the 981 is quite a different shape!

Quite handy that you can get it in with the rear wheel on and the bars in place. Can't do that in my Z4 coupé
