MOT Question - Offside Rear Suspension arm pin or bush worn
Discussion
Hi All
I had this item on my last MOT on the Boxster and wondered if anyone knew exactly what the issue is and what part I need to have replaced?
"Offside Rear Suspension arm pin or bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement lower arm, inner bush (5.3.4 (a) (i))"
Many Thanks
Simon

At a guess it is the rear coffin arm (lower arm) with either a knackered ball joint or possibly a deteriorated rubber bush. Either way, you replace the whole arm so both of those issues would be fixed in the same way.
Before you go buying parts though, I'd get under the car and check for myself to ensure that I was replacing the right arm (there are three at the back)
