New car handbook

For anyone who has taken delivery of a new car the past 6 months or so, did you receive a hard copy handbook and service book ?

Yes both. Cayman GTS - took delivery in July. 2 keys as well

I think there was a previous thread about this some people were told that these would follow in due course , what does the OPC say ?

Our service book turned up about six weeks after delivery (and correctly stamped and signed).

Handbook was a further eight weeks or so I think. I was beginning to wonder if it would turn up at all.

Service book for Porsche GTs is under a fiver at most OPCs.

Thanks. Not concerned about cost it’s the fact that we all should have these as part of the overall car delivery, manual especially, when you sell buyers expect the full set. Out of interest did folks get a nice imitation leather wallet ?

I’m now 6 months and still waiting. Trying really hard not to get the dealer principle involved which will blot my card so to speak, but they’re not even replying to my last email which really pis*** me off after spending north of 90 grand.

On the question of the wallet, previous cars have had an imitation leather but reasonable wallet , my BGTS 4.0 came with what's basically a folded bit of card held together with elastic, even the salesman said its rubbish, im going to guess thats because as an option you could buy a carbon fiber effort which wasnt available when I bought the other cars
