I’m looking for the 2 roll hoop wind deflector baskets - the car came with the central wind deflector but not the other 2 pieces. No doubt Porsche will want a comical amount to supply these, are there any aftermarket options to buy these?

If you are looking for the mesh that fills the gaps in the two roll over hoops behind each seat, you can find them on ebay etc.

Google: Porsche Boxster 981 Wind Deflector 981.561.621

FYI you don't mention the model. I believe the Spyder didn't have any. Humps in the rear deck mean the roll over gaps are smaller.

Thanks - I did mention the model in the post title - it’s a 981.
It is the 2 mess sections that fit in the headrests. I couldn’t see anything on EBay hence asking if there is an aftermarket option?

No worries. There are multiple models or derivatives of 981; Boxster, Boxster S, Boxster GTS, Boxster Spyder which people often refer to generically as a 981 Boxster. As some parts are model specific I thought it best to clarify rather than assume which model of 981 Boxster you were looking for. Unless it is specifically the Boxster Spyder, the part details I shared should fit.

Googling that phrase and part number should take you to the ebay listings for the parts you are after, if you haven't already (I didn't post a link as I am unsure if it breaks the posting rules).

I am not aware of anything aftermarket and at around £100 for all three parts of the deflectors (2 roll over hoop mesh screens and middle screen) I doubt anything aftermarket would be cheaper. You could also sell the middle section to recoup some/most of the costs.

Good luck.

Many thanks for your explanation - it’s a cooking 2016 Boxster
2.7.
I’ll keep an eye out for a complete set and as you say move on the centre section separately.

You need to find someone breaking a damaged car. Search for 981 breaking. Will 718 versions also fit?

There are plenty for sale now on eBay. Reading the rules I think I can share links I am not associated with:

The search results:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/b/Porsche-Genuine-OEM-Car-S...

One of the cheaper listings that appears to offer all three parts:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/185621474944?hash=item2...

Re 718/981 fitment, looks like they fit both generations, based on what most of the links claim.

The mesh on 981's is laughable. A cheap thing that doesn't really help much on my car.
The old 'glassy' deflector on 987 was fantastic, looked premium and did the job.

I could take that any time, even without the mesh

See the Perspex wind deflector?
