Hi can anyone give me an idea how long the factory battery should last please.I use the car sparingly 🙂..done 15k miles in 6 years .
Also any idea cost to replace battery at opc and does it have to be a Porsche labelled one or is it a faff getting it done elsewhere ...Thanks

My wife's 2015 981 is still on its original battery so they can last. Ultimately it's going to depend on how the car was used so I don't think there is such a thing as normal in that respect.

Batteries are like tyres. If you are still paying for a Porsche warranty, then you'll need approved products - £400+ Porsche branded battery fitted at OPC. Otherwise, Bosch or Yuasa or any other major brand name will be cheaper and likely better.

If you’re running the Porsche warranty you could just buy an “official” one from Design 911 and swap it in yourself.
