Dont hold back, my GT4 is naked again having removed my wrap and polished. 8 years old, it looks new !

however it is white and I fancy some stripes.

what does the great unwashed of pistonheads think of stripes? do Martini sets cry out 'plonker'. i like them but.....

Views please dont hold back.....pictures of dogs with stripey cars permitted.....

I’ve never seen a road- going Porsche that looks better with stripes or stickers.
Personal dislike of mine is the ‘Halfords look’ PORSCHE stickers along the sides - everyone knows it’s a Porsche - the subtle Factory badging is all it needs.

Not my style personally, but certainly can appreciate it.

Go for it…it’s essentially a race livery and you use your car competitively so it’s not out of place. Enjoy.

I have no room to talk but ... I think it suits a race car and can be misinterpreted elsewhere ... smile

I’ve posted these before and been flayed for it but I liked them: My old 981GT4. You would never loose it in a car park.

Bit of an homage to my old 924 Carrera GT. I particularly liked the interior with the yellow cage and belts.
Unsurprisingly I took the decals off before I sold it back to the OPC laugh

Fair enough Chris - but that’s what I do with the car. So I dont feel a fake.

And the reason for the wrap going was to deal with battle scars from an off!

White Cayman…. Then it’s got to be twin Martini Stripes down the centre line like your pics. Nothing else needed.
I followed a white 981 non GT4 white with Martini stripes down the A14 a few months ago. Made me so happy…. Not sure a white only one would have had the same effect. smile

Hi,
Car was GT Silver.

Can remember the exact shade, but they were a satin finish light grey. Looked amazing as they seemed to change colour depending on the sunlight.

If you are looking for stripes but don’t want them to be totally “in your face” I can highly recommend stripes in a similar shade to the car. Very subtle but effective.

I saw a red car with an orange stripe (or was it an orange car with a red strip (less likely)) and it looked great ...
