Has anyone changed these recently?

I'm looking to replace the front pads on my Cayman, I wondered if it's Porsche only or if there are aftermarket options available.

Any opinions or experience with them would be much appreciated.

I priced them up the other day. Think it was £560 for the fronts with PCGB discount. The genuine pads are the cheapest I’ve found.
Decided to leave mine for now, they’ve still got 8mm on them.

I changed my after 8 years in an abundance of caution - originals were glazed and chipped. Difference in feel now is like night and day. But not a cheap fix obviously.

Nice. I agree they can definitely 'age out' with use even if not worn thin.

There is now a choice from Pagid, but the local dealer can supply for £535. For that price I've decided to just go for the Porsche pads, which are probably made by Pagid also, I assume?

Expensive, but a set of pads every 14 years is not so bad.
