Has anyone had a new screen fitted to a 718 by Autoglass. Did they supply a genuine Porsche one on the insurance ?

Not directly, but my best pal recently did and had a genuine screen screen from Autoglass. He had no complaints about the screen or the work.

Depending on who your insurer is, you can request it to be done by an OPC. Your excess may be a little more but may be worth looking into.

I had to pay extra on my insurance for a genuine Porsche screen, took them 3 attempts to get the correct screen as well! Can't remember which insurance company or how much the excess was so admittedly this response has limited value! It was Auto glass though.

Make sure the tint at top of the screen matches the one coming out.

Cheers,
Dunc.

My insurance company wont pay for a Porsche screen, Autoglass quoted just over £900 to do it. As my screen has just been scratched I have decided to pay to have the scratch polished out. It is not a deep scratch so I'll see how it turns out.
Thanks for your replies
