Any 718 Boxster owners in Brighton who can help me out?
Discussion
Hi all,
I have a double garage with lots of width, but not as much depth as i would like. My old RX-7 fitted in fine with lots of room but then I sold the car and afterwards changed the door for a sectional which was about 10cm further inboard than the old roller shutter, and the sectional also has long braces horizontally, to give it strength, which further cuts down the depth.
Looks like I'm buying a 718 (GTS 4.0, if that matters - do they have longer bumpers???) in the next few weeks and am having a minor wibble about whether it will fit or not. The car is about 10cm longer than the Rex, and i've lost that depth....making me slightly nervous.
Any helpful 718 owners in Brighton that can drive over and see if it goes in, for a coffee/beer?
cheers
Andy
p.s. the sooner the better, they want a deposit on the car!
