981 BGTS - How good are these cars

Currently loving my 981 BGTS ownership. 2 years in and it's a dream to drive - love the noise and feel of this car. Interested to know how many on this forum have one in Sapphire Blue as there are not many of them out there in this colour in the UK according to DVLA records. This one took me 9 months to find and it replaced a 2.7 981 Boxster which was great fun but lacking in power for me.
Best A / B road sports car for the money I think.... What say you?
No disagreement here, I absolutely love mine, had it since 2020 and you will have to pry it out of my cold dead hands. The feeling of it pivoting around you with the rears just on the edge of grip while the flat sings cannot be beaten.
Can highly recommend the underbody bracing from the gt4/718 particularly if you have the x73 which puts more load into the chassis as it’s so stiff. I’ve also done BMC air filters but otherwise she is close to stock. The PTV is a rare but great option, the diff makes a big difference to getting the power down cleanly and the feeling of control as you exit. It’s a rare balance between a pretty car that gets admiring looks from all walks of life, and just enough aggression to looks sporty and purposeful, without silly wings! Never mind how practical it is to have two large boots, I could go on!
What tyres you running? Any other mods?

Can I creep in under the radar and state a case for owning 'only' a "981 S", I realised and knew when I bought it that one day a 981 GTS might fly past me on the autobahn doing 2 mph more than me but I accepted that and bought an 'S' anyway.
I cannot think of another convertible I have owned or have driven I would rather have and another recent jaunt around the Alps just confirmed that.

Fab combo. I do like Silver with a red roof.
The only things I have done is fitted a Spyder Spoiler as I thought the flat one on the GTS was tame and installed the Zunzport grills to protect the rads.Running P Zero's all round and happy with them as its only a summer / weekend car.
981S are brilliant cars. If I had an S, I most likely would not bother trading for a GTS. My Porsche life started with a 911 and now on my second Boxster...

You certainly can make the case for the S being 99%of the experience for better value, but it was the front bumper that did it for me. Something in the style of the GTS bumper appeals much more. Now I’m more familiar with the cars I know you can retrofit it, but I didn’t at the time!
