2019 Cayenne not reading USB SSD drive

Anyone know why my 2019 is not recognising this SSD drive. Works fine on PCs, Tablets, Phones etc. PCM just says source not readable.

What file system is the disk formatted in? Later cars seem to have broad compatibility, but it may be that yours doesn't at least without an update perhaps?

It's NTFS, which the manual says is supported.

Worth a change to FAT32 just to test - the PCM may also struggle with partition sizing or even power draw from the USB port.

I had a similar problem with a 2016 Cayenne. Reformatting to FAT 32 solved it.
