Discussion
Anyone here has extensive experience knowledge re working on this generation yourself? I’ve just acquired one as a dog/tow car but came with a couple of issues which I’m working through however will need some advise with a Oil Pressure Switch 1 & 2 Transmission fault I can’t get rid of. Nor can find a full workshop manual.
TIA

Thank you. I ve just enabled the emailing option. Much appreciated.
17225 Oil Pressure Switch 1 Transmission
17230 Oil Pressure Switch 1 Transmission
Both showing as Open circuit/short circuit to B+
Then there is another fault under PMS:
0493 Combination Sensor
As soon as car turned on I get a PMS error message. From my research today it appears that the first two faults re oil pressure can potentially be the causing reason for the Combination Sensor fault as the transmission feeds into the combination sensor and if there is a problem there naturally the combination sensor will throw a fault.
To add, I’ve checked and cleaned the connectors into the transmission, there was no sign of a leak there. Hoping there may be something else other than having to drop the transmission pan etc.
