970 rear wiper jammed after frost.

So... frozen rear screen and some stoopid... oh yes that would be me. Hit the wiper before the rear screen had been defrosted.

So it now stooped on the wrong side of the screen.

Is there any basic things I could check?

I'm guessing the fuse is OK... as looking at the digrams the fuse covers a whole lot more than just the wipers... rear interior lights etc. and everything else works fine.

There is no noise that I can hear if the wipers are engaged.
The arm is jammed pretty much solid.

Any tips, advice would be much appreciated,
