993 servicing recommendations London
Discussion
Hi
I am about to buy a 993 Targa and I'm looking for a garage to look after it for me/service it. I am in NW London and would be grateful for recommendations. One of the places that I am thinking of is No 5 Garage - in Acton. Has anyone used them/have any views?
Grateful for any responses (and picture attached of the Targa).

There is also Porscheworx in NW3 if that's close.
I've used Porschworx and wouldn't go back.I'd recommend Jaz.
Thanks all - I'm going to give Jaz a go. failing that then possibly Chris Turner. JZM look impressive - but pricing is almost at OPC levels (and I'm committed to OPC servicing already for my 3.2 and cayenne).
I'm close to porscheworx but had some not so good experiences with them with a 997. Probably not fair to hold that against them as it was around 7 years ago - but memories linger.
Has no-one heard of No.5 garage at all?

Has anyone had much experience with West London based Porsche Torque? Believe they may be used by 911 Virgin which should tell us enough, although first hand experiences would be welcomed.
No- but- GT One in Chertsey have been good for one of my cars and easily reachable by road and train. Just go to Jaz, they have a great rep & although Steve is a bit hit or miss depending on his mood the bill won't reflect it unless you really are a complete PITA.
As for the one based in the small mews, the less said the better, after all who needs another thread pulled?
And FWIW, Jaz did/does a lot of Virgins work.

I have used No 5 in Acton to service my 03 Boxster S and gained a good impression, They were working on several classics and were rated on Bosch.I'm close to porscheworx but had some not so good experiences with them with a 997. Been taking my cars to Sid for the last 5 years back to when he was at RSJ in Slough and now to Porsche Torque which is his own show. Never had any issues myself.Gassing Station | Porsche Classics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
