apart from the fact its £50k ouch, what do people think about this? yellow is so good on this car. 21k miles though is ultra low and might not be as good as a car thats had some use?

I went to see it last year. It has a black leather interior which has crazy paving all over it. Not been looked after right or someones put something on it which has not agreed with it. Nice car other than that.
otherwise as described though? has it been stored with the very low miles/use or not done any mileage per year? 21k is very low for the age of the car, i'm assuming its been stood a while. wondering if hoses etc perishing.200Plus Club said:

For an investment, fine. But if you're looking for a 993 to drive and use... you'll feel too awkward putting miles on it (after spending potentially a fair bit getting it right - although at the price listed you'd argue it should be good to go)200Plus Club said:

Likes:
- Speed yellow
- Low mileage
Dislikes:
- Wheels
- Body kit
- Scruffy interior
- History?
It's an early model, and some buyers prefer the later varioram models, but IMO if it was properly prepared and presented, then it's pricing would seem very fair.
speed yellow or white does it for me, silver looks smart and i have seen a nice blue car. Not fussed with many other shades as yet.- Speed yellow

i might email and ask for interior pics and an explanation of that and any service records.
Holy cow. Why do they allow people who wander-in off the street to write their advertisements?
Anyway - to the OP - Sports seats and Air conditioning are not standard. Sports seats on a '94 mean big side bolsters not hardbacks. Be aware that full leather interior is very rare - normally it is just the front seats. Full leather easily spotted by stitching on the dash/door/rear seats.
Wheels look like Veloce copies with slightly the wrong offset.

Does something not add up do you think with the car? I'll ask if any pics of the interior or find out what the story is about it i think. It looks a nice car from the body pics to my untrained eye. What should the o.e alloys have looked like?Anyway - to the OP - Sports seats and Air conditioning are not standard. Sports seats on a '94 mean big side bolsters not hardbacks. It won't be ready to go. I'd bet my medication on it.These cars like to be used. I could come up with a very long list of what is likely to go wrong with lack of use.
First question would be 'How often has the oil been changed?' I would imagine it leaks from every dried-out orifice even if the easy 'cam-cover' seals have all been done. Used engine oil is slightly acidic - if it has sat five years between changes, I'd rather have a 150k miler.
No interior photos?
The rear RS spoiler and front corners may or may not be genuine. As they are 'an upgrade' the car probably didn't have them from the factory.
The OE wheel was the 16" Cup Design '93 Winterrad? or the 17" Cup Design '93 (or cup2).

I havent seen this as the adverts been pulled, but is this the one discussed about a year ago that had filler on its roof?
http://www.hexagonmodernclassics.com/car_sales/Porsche-993-Carrera-2-Coupe/9805.htmHere you go - it has Speedline alloys apparently, so I was wrong about the Veloce....
Here are Speedlines - notice the spoke-shapes....

Brackets are at the sides - the back is four screws into the rear heat-shield. Probably caught it on something else in the display cabinet.
ETA I've just spotted the rear-wiper is broken
...how much are they? 150 GBP?
Why would you publish such a photo?
