So im now the owner of a 911 Targa Turbo
Discussion
This is my latest purchase, upon doing a wedding for a friend, we get talking Porsche he informs me that he knows of a 911 parked in a garage that belongs to a friend of his and maybe for sale. After a few weeks I eventually get to chat to the guy who informs me the cars been sitting for 2 years but has been fitted with a 3.3 turbo engine and G50 box. I arrange to go and see the car. And well the rest is history

The turbo badge was the first thing to go unfortunately someone attached it with evo stick so I need to get the hot air gun out to remove the glue, the exhaust is interesting its a hand made stainless steel system that now only exhausts out the offside pipe as the wastegate vents through the left. Its not to far off being ready for its MOT so looking forward to seeing what it goes like.

Nothing wrong with that rear wing...it's a turbo one...had it been a 3.2 wing there'd be no room for the intercooler. Brakes will need upgrading though....!!!
I fitted new discs and pads all round so going to see how it stops now, but if it comes down to it I will fit turbo calipers and discs. Im need a few silly bits to if anyone can recommend a good porsche breakers? g7jhp said:
Do you notice any flex as it's a targa with more bhp?
You might want to consider adding a front strut brace and upgrade the anti-rollbar.
To be honest I haven't driven it on the road yet, so unable to comment on flex/body roll the car was brought as a project that Im fitting in as and when possible. I do think a strut brace might help, wider tyres possibly, but I can see it being a bit of a handful. I also want to re-register it as a Turbo Sport as its still 3.2 on the V5. And will help when or If I sell it on.You might want to consider adding a front strut brace and upgrade the anti-rollbar.
