It's odd that 2 of you mention that it looks like a 912. Here's the advert.

Thank you for the replies.
Any idea what would have been connected to the loose bolt to the right of the fan? Also, what's the silver foil for?
I suspect the car used to have air condition because that is the area where the compressor would go. It would be driven by a belt and the extra pulley that can be seen attached to the fan.Any idea what would have been connected to the loose bolt to the right of the fan? Also, what's the silver foil for?
car looks a dog as soon as you see the 1st pic

It'll be interesting to see what the ppi shows up. It's being done today.
Does the person carrying out the PPI have any connection to Beverly Hills Car Club? You must be sure they are independent. Why would you import an lhd 2.7 Targa, possibly the least loved version of the 911. Only one rung above a 2.7 non S with sporto. Is it, like, 5 grand?
ETA US$24,750 plus shipping and import duty....about US%30k/£20k landed....hmmmm
The car is sitting too high front and rear. The engine bay looks a mess, it is wearing later wheels, the passenger side door mirror looks limp. No front spoiler so the rear spoiler is an add-on (non sport).

You're right because those five green dial dash instruments are worth more than the "rebuilt salvage title" 1976 Targa S linked above.rubystone said:

I'm looking for an air cooled project but I've missed the boat on most variants. ETA US$24,750 plus shipping and import duty....about US%30k/£20k landed....hmmmm

Can anyone direct me to a UK car (that's running) for less that £20k?

Save yourself a lot of headache and buy a 996 C2 with the IMS issues fixed... the £20k aircooled 911 ship has sailed a while ago.Can anyone direct me to a UK car (that's running) for less that £20k?
