advice 993 2S wheels

I have a 993 2S with hollow spoke wheel 10 x18 offset ET40 rear and 8 x 18 offset ET 52 i have a et of solid spoke rears correct size and offset
and am trying to get the correct fronts anyone any ideas or i can get the same wheels but 7.5 x 18 offset ET 50 seems to be tons of these what spacers would i need for them and should i do that thanks for reading this

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking, but the difference between 8J and 7.5J on the front is completely negligable, in both looks and feel (if both wearing 225/40/18 tyres), and you don't need a spacer as the offset is slightly different.

The 8J hollowspoke or solidspoke were only made for a short period (up to roughly 1996) whereas the 7.5J was made for the Boxster and the 996.1, which is why these are much easier to source.
They didn't make the Turbo-1 wheel by the time we get to the 996.2.
IIRC the solidspoke 8J was only made for the Turbo-look 4S, so is even rarer than the hollowspoke which was made for the Turbo and the Turbo-Look 2S
If you want to pay through the nose, I'm sure you can find the 8J, but IMO chuck on some 7.5Js and not even your dental hygienist will know.

Without punctuation, I'm not sure I follow your banter old man....
But solidspokes are not 'correct' for your car anyway. If sourcing front solidspokes are just for whilst your hollowspokes are being refurbished, I think you are mad.
Personally I'd sell the rear WB solidspokes to a C4S owner or two as spares, and source a set of 17" so-called Cup2 wheels, which were a factory option on your car, and 'run/handle' so much better on any 993 than any 18" wheel.
17" wheels are significantly lighter than 18s, with the corresponding tyres, AND the fronts wear narrower tyres which suits the steering so much more... (the down-side is that the 17" fronts look a bit wrong).
The factory even colour-coded them, certainly on the 'Vesuvius'.

But solidspokes are not 'correct' for your car anyway. If sourcing front solidspokes are just for whilst your hollowspokes are being refurbished, I think you are mad.

18" Hollowspokes were a factory fit option on a Carrera S. They came as standard on Cup 2's.
18" Solidspokes only came on the C4S - which was already carrying a heavier tranny and heavier brakes, so christ knows why they didn't sell the C4S with hollows.
Hollow spokes and solid spokes both look the same from the outside - hollows are smooth at the back of the spoke, solids are ridged (as other have said)
My Carrera S was supplied with hollows, and still runs on 'em.....
