Hi,

I'm in the market for various engine parts for my 964.

I've found Teile.com and wondered if there were any other German retail sellers of genuine Porsche parts that can be recommended.

Thanks,

John

Do they have to be EU based?

NBTBRV8 it all depends on price and exchange rate. I live in Australia so postage is $$$. I also have a base in the UK where the postage from Germany isn't $$$ and I can reclaim the VAT when I leave.

My research and logic suggests that parts in Germany will be the least expensive as there's no transport cost.

If you have a different perspective and can recommend a supplier that is competitive please advise.

Thanks,

John

was8v I had a look. I'm currently after a new oil pump which I found on their very nice website at
http://www.rosepassion.com/en/cat/porsche-964-1992...

The price focused my mind! EUR 1436.69 incl. VAT. I couldn't see any mention of whether it was in stock. My reference price is half that (but no stock until August.) Something crazy going on?

I live in Aus too and use www.sonnenoemporscheparts.com, they are the cheapest dealer I can find on the net. Their website is fully priced too.

Try http://www.genuineautoparts.com too

Unsure precisely where they're based, however their customer service rep who got in touch with me to clarify my order was based in Australia

This site came up in the BMW M forum as well. Double check the part numbers they provide against another source - they were stating that standard brake discs will work on an M5 so their price was off by 60%.

I've used partacus.de before and they were good.

Not entirely sure how advantageous prices are right now, as the last time I used them was at pre-Brexit GBP/EUR rate.

Just to add that your local OPC, perhaps surprisingly, might be the cheapest. I've hunted for a few bits and pieces and they've actually come up cheaper than a lot of the sites mentioned in this thread. They will at least usually match other prices and post out for free if needed, I usually collect though.

Edit:

Just seen this is for a 964, not sure how good their 'classic' prices are.
