It's a beauty but £171k for a non G50 seems like a change of basis!!

I don't think it matters on a turbo whether its a 4 speed or 5 speed. The 4 speed really suits the character of the car IMO. Thats a special 930. Used just enough to stay in fine fettle. Lovely.

I think it does (obviously) because there were only 1038 5-speed models made.

£171,000 reasons to say it doesn't matter IMO if you know your turbos wink

Not sure I understand... Have driven another sorted '88 930 recently and it felt nowhere near like even just a £20k car.

An Aston DB6 drives like a BOS but you need to sell your soul to buy one. It's about the full ownership. I drive mine like it should be and it's a very rewarding car that try's to kill you if you get it wrong.

Of course it makes a difference if it's 4 or 5 speed. Always has. 20,000 turbos made, a fraction of them 5 speed. It's all about the numbers. 3.0 would be the one to have though.

Sold mine just in time, about a year ago! :-D
