BBS LM wheels for 993

I would like to purchase a set plus tyres for 993 Targa. What size is best 17 or 18s and what offset and tyre size? They are not officially listed for the 993. Dont want to adversely effect handling or foul arches.....

Front are 8.5 x 18 ET56 Rears are 10x18 ET 65 .If you ask Porsche I think they will tell you that 18's were never fitted to Targa's and it is a no no. My car is a 1995 model and I don't think they were ever fitted with 18's either. Make sure you fit a steering rack strut brace aswell.

As above, 18's weren't recommended but people have done nonetheless. Apparently puts strain on the structure, and can interfere with the roof operation?

We do not have a wheel with TÜV certifications but those wheels will fit the car:

8.5 18 LM265VA 56.0 130 5 71.6
9.0 18 LM285VA 50.0 130 5 71.6
10.0 18 LM286HA 50.0 130 5 71.6
11.0 18 LM277HA 56.0 130 5 71.6


VA means front, HA means rear.
