Modified 964 C4
Discussion
Morning all,
People thoughts on my car, which is currently for sale in the classifieds??
https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/...
I've owned for ten years now, and car has had a massive amount of work done to it over the years, most recently a glass out repaint last year
From research, it was (is?) the lowest priced RHD Manual Coupe on sale (with no negative history), across PH/AT/911UK and Ebay. It also comes with a huge array of spares
Car is well known in the 964 world and features here

That is ridiculously cheap !
looks great.
Did you ever consider a C2 conversion ?
Good luck with the sale.
Thank youlooks great.

I've always liked the way it drives on road and track so never felt a need to change it
I have a friend who did the 2wd conversion, and it was a whole heap of pain, though he was a bit of a guinea pig, so im comfortable staying with 4wd

Priced it to sell, as I have a couple of replacements in my sights

Shame you are selling, pretty much all my mods! Pity we never got out for a run together. Perfect 964 build in my book, good luck with the sale.
Yes your Rennlist threads were a great help
I would be more than happy to keep it, its a good car, but after 10 years just got the itch, and now have an idea what I want to move to
As somebody that was in the market for a 964/993 the year before last, I would say that you’re probably targeting a niche market. The purists / investors will steer clear while those wanting a track day oriented set up will probably want a Carrera 2?
It’s clearly a sorted car. In my opinion, I would ditch the black alloys and get some photos of it’s in the sunlight rather than you nutting it around a track!
Just my opinion though. GLWS.

There are so few out there with the right spec its a compromise all round
I almost bought the Black car at Ashgood's which was a decent spec and cheap due to the slightly higher miles. However between me driving it and phoning to put a deposit on it about 30 hours later they had removed the buckets and sold them with a Boxster Spyder ….
So they've no ruined the factory spec of the black car and I don't want one without buckets
I would really have liked Kevin's car, but he wont even know if he's going to sell it for a month or so
Going to view a very nice sounding Peridot car on Saturday. which is only lacking PCM, which I wanted, but will compromise on.
Will let you know what happens

What a daft thing to do! And they've still got the photos up with the buckets in and I guess the same price! So they've no ruined the factory spec of the black car and I don't want one without buckets
And yes, buckets on an R are a must IMO.
I guess Kevin wants to keep his at least until the Anglesey PCGB trackday which is middle of next month.
