Got close on this one but ended up buying a Cab. He seemed like a genuine guy, the car had 993 seats until recently, he's now put the original interior back in.

This is one of the early SSE cars so they do differ a little from the post 86 cars, it has the 3.0 engine not a 3.2 for a start!

Go look at it, he may do a deal...

Yes I noticed that. It’s an interesting car and a little bit different from what is normally recognised as a Supersport as it’s 1984 and a 3.0 engine. The seller is very open and we’ve exchanged lot information. It’s just a very difficult car to decide the right price to pay especially in the current air cooled market. Hope to view it if it’s still around when I get back to the UK if it’s not been sold.

I am looking into buying this car. Can you confirm it has the m491 brakes? How clean is it ? Did you drive it ? I am not in the UK and can’t validate. Looks great in the pics . Cheers David

I did not look at the car and cannot comment on which brakes are fitted. The pictures do look good. Like I’ve said here earlier and to the seller it’s such a difficult car to place a value on 1984 Vs 1986 etc.... also values of Air Cooled cars sticking a bit. PM me if you want
