HELP PLEASE BUYING 911 3.2 G50 WITH SUNROOF AND CLIMATE
Discussion
Not sure they had Climate in those days. The air on system was generally regarded as being useless, but it is possible to get it working properly.
The ventilation in these cars is dire, so working air con would be good. Sadly it’s a very rare option.
You should buy on condition and not get hung up on spec.

You could fit electric air conditioning....?

I've no connection to this company. I've followed them for a while in the hope that they'd finish developing their 964 system. No such luck so far.

They do exist. This is an F plate 1989 car. You can just see the controls for the a/c (but it's not climate as I recall) in the centre consol and also the edge of the sun roof.
Though it was a nice example, to be frank I was left somewhat underwhelmed and it didn’t seem anything like the car I had remembered from back the ‘80’s. I moved it on quite quickly and don’t miss it.

I really like the G50 3.2s. Had three, all near new, low mls.
Virtually all U.K. cars will have sunroofs, except the ‘Club Sports’.
The Aircon is rare and probably more hassle than benefit. The majority of the time, the sunroof does quite a good job.
It’s also possible to drive with the driver or passenger window down, because the fixed quarter light stops buffeting and excessive wind ingress, but helps keep the cabin comfortable. Actually works very well.
Also make sure the heater flaps are fully closed - I’ve known some that allow warm air to get in during the summer, which isn’t much fun.
