Can anyone recommend a body shop near St.Albans to treat the rust issues with my 993. Owned the car for 17 years now, had rust at base of windscreen repaired about 10 years ago but has now returned along with some on front wing. Looking for someone to do a thorough job.
Not sure if 50 miles counts as near but Riviera autobody are very good at Porsche bodywork. https://www.rivieraautobody.co.uk/Go and see Kieran Giles at Harpenden Classic and Performance.

Has done some nice work on my old BMW and was recommended by Porsche owner. Or ask JAZ. I had a bonkers quote from Tuthill to do mine. I just ask JAZ every year if it’s getting worse...

Try Langley Autocraft in Kings Langley. It was recommended to me years ago probably on 911UK and I had my front screen rust done there in 2010. Pete ( who owns/owned it) certainly use to have a black 993 & it's certainly close enough to you. After I ran into a suicidal fox at 60 mph this place repaired my 997: https://www.fastlanepab.co.uk/.
Was the outfit my official Porsche insurance wanted it to go to at the time. Did a very good job though the assessor missed a very slight deformation of the front o/s wheelarch (subsequently rectified via a simple smart repair).
