Are there any problems in having the above setup? I'm thinking in terms of offsets, rolling radius, wheels catching the arches on full lock etc.

I've read that the ride can suffer but has anybody got the same combination, and any comments?

Problems can occur on the early models with the abs system, later models not a problem.
430 wheels look pants on a 360, and a 430 for that matter, 19" strad wheels are the only way to go :-)

I think they look great on 430 wheels, they guy I sold my spider to put them on; made me wish I'd done it!

As above, be careful putting any 19" wheels on an early 360 (99 or 00). The ABS cannot cope with it.

The stock 18" 'stars' look sooo much better on the 360 than the F430 rims IMO.

I personally think they look great and will keep them on the car (if I buy it), but will store the original 360 wheels should the next owner want them, each to their own. It's a 2001 Spider so should be no problems with the ABS smile

All for mods if they improve things, but looks a bit try-hard IMO.

Also 18s should ride better. I was shocked at how cheap a set of tyres are for my 360. Cheaper than my 2005 Boxster was, on 19s.

If changing the wheels on my 360 I would go for the 18in challenge wheels as they are lighter than stock and are supposed to improve the drive a little. I'd imagine the 430 wheels weigh a little more?
