So after owning my 458 for about 10 months, I have decided its time to sell. I have enjoyed the car and made good use of it, including an amazing trip though the Alps. The main reason for selling is simply the attention that the car gets, I just don't like being stared at wherever I go. I guess some people by them just for this reason, so it takes all sorts.

Anyway, I am realistic and expect to take a heavy loss on my purchase price, but was wondering the best way to sell the car. I don't need to shift it quickly, so selling to trade doesn't need to be the route. I had thought about sale or return with a main dealer or perhaps selling privately, but not sure how many people buy something like this privately?

The car is a black 2011 with 12K miles. It has factory warranty until 2017, but does not have the 7 year service plan, which I think might well put off some buyers.

Any thoughts?

I used main dealer on SOR, no complaints.

You may well sell it just through this post, I have sold two cars like that lol

No harm in putting a private ad on pistonheads, if it's priced below dealer prices there is a good chance you will get some interest in a private sale, just beware of the test pilots.

Sale or return with a good Indy with decent web presence. Try Dovehouse cars

Sounds very sellable! just out of interest how did you manage to get a 2011 car with such a long warranty?? I think from new is 4 years and if bought VIA Ferrari approved you get 1 year if new manufactures is out ????

Cheers

Not sure,

It was a 3yr with the additional 1 year extension, then a further 12 months and then another 12 months after that, ending 24/12/2016.
