Finally the older V8's play catch up, whilst 488's remain under price pressure https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jeyJQC6YHsU

USA market for 458s has rocketed recently. I was gonna say I hope the UK follows, but in all honesty I'm never selling, so don't really care!

I've been watching the 458 and 488 coupe market for the last 9 months.

There will always be exceptions but mostly prices haven't moved that much.

One thing that has dropped though is availability - 80 x 458 couples on AT then, 53 now. 71/57 for the 488 coupe

Dick Lovett has no 488 GTB's in stock and one 488 Spider. Only 15 preowned cars in total.

Yup. I’m looking to buy a 458 (preferably spider) but v little about and I think some dealers have jacked prices up opportunistically given state of the market.

Prices have definitely come up, I look at a few Ferraris over the weekend, and they offered me more for my R8+ than I paid for it, plus webuyanycar offered me £4k more than I paid for it over a year ago. But things might come crashing down when the people buying new start taking delivery of their delayed cars, but this could be still a few years off.

Well if anyone fancies swapping an F12 for my 458 - I’d take it... lol

Happy to buy your 458 but sadly I don’t have an F12 to sell.

I'm in the market for an F12 or a 458 - do you mind me asking why you're looking to switch into the F12?

I have both (458 Spider/F12). Totally different cars.

I use the Spider for road trips with my mates and the F12 for road trips with my wife. The former is all about the mountain passes and the drive, the latter is all about the sense of occasion, carrying a ton of women's stuff plus what she buys on the way round and crossing distances at speed in comfort.

Pretty much sums them up for me.

Hi Leg ,Did you ever get the Historic race car with your mate, Went up to Goodwood in the GTB this week ,nice to be back on the track

after 2 years absence but got black flagged after a couple of warning, My own fault i should have fitted the road silencer but thought i'd get

away it. Seem to be a bit stricter this year but i knew i was pushing my luck a bit.

,Apologies for going off thread,

A lot of heroic older NA cars are starting to appreciate.

S2000 I paid 14k for last March, WBAC offering 17k and private sales around 20k. In the US decent examples are 30k plus.

Electric is here and coming big time, all the great fun cars with epic engines are gonna go up in value or certainly hold their prices.

Most modern cars are boring to drive on the road, who cares how fast a car is on paper, the most important thing is surely how much fun it is to drive on the road and how it makes you smile and feel.

Thanks. I’m looking at a high spec 2018 now for around that. I wonder when the prices will drop again? When is the 296 arriving?

Logically then prices should be stable for a while? Not much stock around?
