Independent for F430

Hello,

My F430 F1 could do with a new clutch... fun!

Would very much appreciate any independent garage recommendations. I am in London/South East but the car can go anywhere if necessary.

I used QV for my 360 and was very happy with them.

Having said that - depending on where exactly you are - AV in Kent are first class (they saved me significant money simply by giving advice when my cam actuator snapped)

I live in south east London and take my 430 to Foskers at Brands Hatch. They are very good in my experience.

Agree, go to AV without question. Aldous is a good guy, honest & knows his stuff. No need to look anywhere else!

I can recommend Autofficina in Epsom (actually just off the A3 junction at Tolworth).

GTO Engineering just outside Reading. Very well established and regarded, they build their own engines and have some serious metal in their workshops.

Another vote for AV for anyone with a 360/F430. Not only is Aldous a good guy but top-tech Ed is also there.

Have to say I didn’t have a very positive experience with AV. Knowledgeable fellow but didn’t work out for me.

Another vote for Aldous @ AV Engineering. I wouldn’t take a 360/430 anywhere else.

Less about being PC and more about not being that guy, a whiny tt on the internet. Aldous and I talked at length about why I wasn't happy and we've parted on good terms. That's it really, nothing more needs to be said and for the sake of balance I would use him again but distance is an issue.
