Replacing the front antiroll bar bushes on my 360. Doesn’t look like they’ve ever been changed before.
Was a job separating the bush from the mount but now I’m struggling to get the new mount on the bush!

Both lubed up but the mount is only about half way home. Been tapping it with a hammer, even tried bolting it on with longer bolts (but then it doesn’t go on straight)

Any tricks to getting this on??

Thanks

Generally a hammer doesn't work too well as the bushes flex and absorb the impact. A press of some sort made up of a vice/G-cramp and various packers tend to be best.

Also external bushes go on easier if the metal bit is chilled first to srink it slightly (pipe freeze spray?). Or if you can get the whole thing into a freezer then that will harden the bush too so it might drift on better.
