Hi all,
Apologies if this question has already been asked but what tyres do you guys recommend on a 355?
Mine is currently on Bridgestones (eventhough the stickers on the car says it should have Pirellis). I've got plenty of tread on the tyres but they're all approx. 5 yrs old. Also should I stick with the standard size both front and back and also the recommend pressures?
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Same old chestnut.
FWIW, I've run quite a few brands over the past 20 years, from top end to mid range, on road and track in most weathers year round.
In my experience, they're all much of a muchness. Anyone driving at the limit of the car and the tyre on the road needs to have a good look at themselves and on track, I'd generally prefer a less grippy tyre which allows me some slip at speeds I can manage (plus its kinder on the car). If you've bought it to set lap times, then you won't be using a road tyre I presume.
I'm currently running Kuhmo PS91 all round and can't fault them.
Size wize, I run 275/40/18 and 235/45/18 (I think).
Going up a size or 2 is fine. I've seen some running 295/30's on the back.

Thanks guys, much appreciated.
Definitely haven't bought it with the idea of setting quick lap times - those days are over but still enjoy a 'spirited drive' when no-one's watching. Will leave the current tyres on over the winter (as probably won't get much use out of it as, being a Spider it does leak a bit) but will look to change in the spring
Thanks again
