I’m slightly regretting trading mine in now. In hind sight should have kept it for a year or more.

Not surprised. It’s taken awhile but the pushback on shiny new turbo hybrid and Ferrari dealer tactics started a few months ago and 1 particular USA auction results. People are buying up the back catalogue Ferraris they want N/A, especially the limited production ones. In particular to 458 Spider, with 458 Specisle heading to 500k and Aperta to 800k can only see Coupe 458 staying at 150 and spiders at 200k. Happening everywhere over the car market, Manual Aston, best hot hatches, JDM cars, and any big engined small cars.. inflection point has already arrived, it’s not a seasonal thing.

I know it’s personal,but I would also be looking at 488 spiders.
I feel still value there.

Friend just bought a beut of a 458 Coupe, which got me looking at spiders.

Can't find one on the market in a spec I'd buy regardless of budget, hell can;t find another coupe either

There’s a number of cars from about 2005 - 2016/17 which have disappeared from the market. 997 GT3 , 991 GT3 manuals, 458, 650, 675, manual Lamborghinis just off the top of my head.

Ferraris from pre haptic/turbo era are moving really quickly. F12s and FFs with average specs are still moving. I’m not sure how much of it is the perceived “golden era”.

Fantastic bidding war going on atm.. I was wrong at 800k for Aperta, more like 1M.. for a well known used track day experience car for about a year.

30 488 Spiders for sale. Somethings got to give on their pricing…I can’t see how they won’t drop below 458 pricing very soon. Nothing is supporting their price as they age.

Apertas trying for £1.3m…I think I’ve heard about that owner if he services his at greypaul.

I can’t stop thinking that switching from the 458 to a pista would be a good move. But there are now none for sale since I opened this post….

There was over 20 Pistas 6 months ago,and I turned up my nose at quite a few of them waiting for something better starting at £245k.
The market can turn very quickly. It’s such a great car,and can think of no other car I would swap it for .
