Hi Guys,

I am currently in the market for a Gallardo.

I have wanted one for years and now I want to finally take the plunge!

Bit I am finding it difficult to find good a one!!!

Here is one that grabbed my attention that I'm aiming to go see next week if possible...does anyone know anything about it, is it a good one?

Thanks Steve

"Upgrades"...?

Might be a decent car. Definitely a rubbish ad.

I believe that the robotised-manual 'boxes have a greater propensity to eat their clutches, but I drive my manual car hard and have so far covered twenty thousand miles on a clutch that wasn't new when I bought the car. How hard do you have to rag the drivetrain in its early life to screw the clutch in 6000 miles?

Yeah from my research I've done too, a lot of people say the earlier clutches can go as early at 3k!!!

Hard ones are good to find.

If you can wait until November I will be moving to an Aventador.

Good luck!

spec is basic with no lifting gear, heated seats or reversing camera, but looks okay.... 6k change means nothing... early clutches wore badly esp if driven in town or reversing up a gradient.

Hi I don't know that car, there are good cars out there but like with most of them you sometimes have to be patient and wait for the right car for you (not that I am very good at that)
Only thing I can also suggest is to give some of the main dealers a call as they will often know of cars either coming in or that are potentially for sale, give Craig at Pangbourne or Brent at Sevenoaks a call who maybe able to help.

main thing is check the paperwork....... all invoices/mots etc etc and listen for any odd knocking sounds when on test drive, there shouldn't be any... the front diff can be noisy at full lock at slow speeds..... call the dealer as well who serviced it last, they can review their file.

I was considering both, but do prefer the look and style
Of the coupe...

I also would prefer the E-gear over the manual, just personal preference really.

Thank you so far for your advice
