My 2005 has been resting for many years apart from MOT oil and filter changes once a year, only covered 12,000mls since new as a result. It will be out again next year for regular use, has anyone sat their Gallardo in the garage for many years and experienced problems when it returned to the road, are there any specific areas which should be looked at. Looking at a suitable independent in the Midlands for a major service any recommendations. Thanks for any suggestions.

Sounds like you've been on top of it what with the oil changes and not letting the mot's lapse,

No cam belts to worry about, a service and general check over ,tyres ect should be more than enough.

My Gallardo has only covered less than a 100 miles in the last 3 years and part of that was taking it for mot's.

Apart from a unexplainable time when it just wouldn't fire up it always started first turn of the key even after 6 months,

The none starting problems was a mystery that miraculously fixed it self 24 hours before the truck was coming to

take it to the garage, If you don't mind travelling Autofficina in Epsom or Ricky at RePerformance in Swindon

would be my choice for anything Gallardo. Good luck getting back on the road.
