E-gear issue any one else had this

HI.
I've got an issue with my 2013 Gallardo,

It's an E-gear, and I'm having issues with it changing down on the stalk. it changes up fine, changes down OK when low Revs automatically, works fine in the auto mode (although I never use like this), but when trying to use it manually it has an ad-hoc issue changing down and sometimes jumps 2 gears most of the time will not change down at all. whenever trying to engage neutral I don't have any issue some slightly bemused as to what this could be but hoping it's some kind of switching the stalk as opposed to anything more fundamental.

has anyone experienced this here ?

If it changes ok in auto, it will almost certainly be the micro switches in the paddles. i believe they can be cleaned with electrical contact cleaner, or replaced with new units from an electrical component supplier. Official line however is to replace the whole unit

I had a similar intermittent issue with the paddles failing to make e-gear down changes in my pre-LP, was the micro switches.
