Hi all,
Recently traded my Grigio titan spyder for a Nero noctis (very deep black) huracan performante.

It has a fairly recent full gloss PPF.
Don t want to be wasteful but do folks think a satin matte or matte PPF would do the car more justice.
Please don t think I don t like the gloss black because it looks really good but I was wondering if the Matt would give it the stealth look.
Or is that gonna spoil the look of it.

Opinions very welcome.

BTW wish I did this last year. The perf prices have gone a bit bananas lately.
Such a lovely drive too I’m well pleased with the car.

Matte black wraps have to be the worst, chavviest thing you can do to a car.

That car is lovely. Stay classy.

Short of some sort of baby pink, nothing makes your car look more st than a Matt black wrap.

Also Matt black is the hardest colour to keep clean.

Just no, please. For the reasons above.

This.

Don’t make a stunning car look cheap, tatty and tasteless.

Saw a Matt black wrapped Adventador a few weeks ago. It looked awful.

I really don't know how matt wraps became a thing.

The car looks stunning - leave it alone!

I think it's my mind playing tricks on me, I had the grigio titan paint on my last Huracan and I liked the matt effect, TBH it wasn't hard to keep clean, just a wash with ph. neutral shampoo, then a rinse in filtered water, so that would be a worry for me.

thanks for the positive comments about the existing finish, it is encouraging.

I have had a black Huracan before and I swore not to do it again but I'm a glutton for punishment and this one has full PPF, so the cleaning isn't too hard (:

Loving the car so-far and I can now see why they are holding the price so well.

It's your car, do what the fk you want with it.

You're in a Lambo, it isn't like matt wrap will make it blend into the background. If you wanted that you should have got a Prius smile

But if you're going to change it, the world is your oyster. How about a Movie Tribute wrap? The General Lee, Starsky and Hutch or A-Team van stripe, the eagle on the bonnet from Smokey and the Bandit, or maybe Herbie. Knight Rider is probably too subtle on that.

Agreed, although it's already a homage to the Cannonball Run Countach biggrin
