Mobile site issues

Not sure if this is a ph issue or not. Anywho, more often than not, when trying to log in, or post on the mobile site, i get the message, HTTP request refused by the host. Is this a fault with the site, or is it 02's issue?? Thanks in advance

It's not a PH issue which I am aware of, does it happen on the full site too?

Nothing to do with OP's issue, but since this thread already exists I'll just post here

Whenever i read the new "features" articles, the first one (i.e. the newest) always displays an almost blank page, with just the PH header at the top and the link to switch to the full site at the bottom. The second newest feature and onwards are all perfectly fine, it's just the most recently written one that won't display.

I work around this by switching to the full site for that one article, and have been doing for quite some time; I only thought to mention it upon seeing this thread title.

Anyway it's not at all bothersome, I've pretty much grown used to it, but thought it might be worth a mention.

BTW, I've been viewing the mobile site with an iPhone, not sure if that's relevant but can't hurt to mention

Mr Will, or Pete, it seems that a few people are having issues getting onto the mobile site, and they are on different networks to me. Possibly worth looking in to, although in one persons case, it is saying pistonheads is unknown.

Okay, so is the mobile site very very slow today, or is that just my out of date, piece of junk, alleged smart phone that is causing problems? It can take forever to get onto the site, sometimes i get 25kB into the boot up, and it just freezes solid, or if i am trying to post something, i can wait a good ten minutes before anything happens? If this is my phone, then at least i know to get rid asap, but if it is the mobile site, is it down to purely the amount of traffic?

I'm afraid that I don't think there is a lot I can do to help, IMHO it is unlikely to be your phone, more likely the network. Does it run faster when you use the full site?

TBH mate, it's the same, even on facebook, so must just be 02 providing a shoddy service. Oh well, thanks for clearing that up anyway Mr Will
