You should have full access to other forums on PH, it's a slap on the wrist rather than a full ban.

A simple email would have acheived more than a ban from one part of the forum. You never know, I might have apologised too. I don't, however, agree that a ban is fitting for this to be honest

That is your right, of course. However we don't like words like that on our forums and act accordingly, an apology after the event doesn't really matter as you knew full well what you were doing at the time.

Anyway, let's not go around the houses. It's seven days from one forum after all.

A full ban for questioning this?

Surely the whole point of a ban is to prevent someone from continously breaking the rules, which is why I don't see what this will acheive- I can still post elsewhere so I'm clearly not that much of a problem.

You can have a ban if you like? I wouldn't recommend it however.

Look, as site owners we have the right the right to administer a punishment as we see fit. Not long ago we had the option of full ban or nothing, as that wasn't ideal the temporary forum ban was implemented to serve as a warning, or to remind members they have been silly.

My suggestion is you start chalking off the days on the wall and move on. Be thankful you still have your posting rights and don't attempt to be oh so amusing by typing the word again. It's not a very adult thing to do. Neither is this conversation quite frankly.
